 Vickie Hannah Creations came to life after an unforgettable African Safari in Tanzania. I've written stories all my life, which inspired me to write two educational children's picture books about African animals. Then came ideas for tote bags, clothing, and more! 

 With the excitement and encouragement of my family and friends, I opened my first online store in late 2024. WooHoo!

  Children's Literacy has always been important to me. My goal is to donate over 500 books. When customers buy merchandise, I donate books. 

In December 2025, I was excited to donate 108 books to 

Moncure School in NC! 

I'll take my books and merchandise to private and public events and post event dates here, on Facebook, and on Instagram. 

I hope you, your family, and educators enjoy reading the playful books and derive great pleasure from wearing, carrying, or looking at the awe-inspiring animals! 

Everything I create comes from my genuine love and care for people and animals.

Working as an actress and writer with a young family, I created a local TV show called Family Fun in the Triangle. My son and I hosted the series for six years, showing families where to go for fun activities. I also created Storytime, a TV show that focused on reading for children; and Animal Shelter, a TV show featuring animal care. 

This was before both social media and reality TV became popular. My friends told me I was ahead of my time and should share clips from our show. I've added that to my long list of things to do. :-) 

I grew up in South Florida, where my love for marine life and wildlife blossomed. I wanted to be either a wildlife or marine biologist. As my life progressed, I married young, worked full-time while attending college, and had my son a few years later before graduating with highest honors from The University of North Carolina. My career path changed to keep me closer to home, but I kept my passion for science, exploring Earth, adventure, and animals. 

Now, an empty nester, I work in healthcare, helping people with their physical fitness, while continuing my writing and acting work. I hope to travel more to create unique, exciting gifts that bring you joy!

I hope the books inspire a love for these wonderful animals and provide quality time for kids to enjoy them as educational tools with family and teachers.

I hope people love using the tote bags for grocery shopping and everyday essentials, reducing the need for new plastic and paper bags.
